BikeRadar Lists Macro Front and Micro Rear as Best Road Cycling Lights
The online cycling publication released a list of their favorite LED lights for road cycling, whether for urban or commuting use. The Lezyne Macro Drive (Front) and Micro Drive (Rear) made the cut! The Lezyne Macro Drive features a lightweight and sturdy CNC-machined aluminum body with a Side Visibility design that allows 180 degrees of visibility and increases user safety. Constant Lumens power management drives the LED at a bright 400 lumens, and the Intelligent Power Indicator button allows the user to check the power level at any time. The Side Visibility Cuts allow for 180 degrees of visibility, especially from the side. The Li-ion battery (non-replaceable) is recharged either with a fast, high efficiency, 2 Amp charging with a compatible wall adaptor, or via a Micro USB cable for ultimate convenience. The Overdrive Race Mode allows quick switching between Overdrive and Economy, depending on the occasion. The Composite Matrix back cap design conceals the USB port for recharging the battery. This unobtrusive light attaches to a wide range of handlebar sizes using a snap-fit Composite Matrix mount that is secured with a multi-position, silicon rubber strap for tool-less installation. It is available as a single front LED or as a front/rear pair with the Micro Drive Rear, or with the Zecto Drive Rear. The Lezyne Micro Drive Rear provides a high-visibility 70-lumen Daytime Flash mode. Constant Lumens power management drives the LED at a steady output, and also features an Intelligent Power Indicator button and a Side Visibility Design. The body is made CNC-machined aluminum. The light easily attaches to a wide range of round seatpost diameters via a snap-fit Composite Matrix mount, with a multi-position silicon rubber strap for tool-less installation. The dedicated rear mount points upward to ensure light is directed straight back. It is available as a single rear LED, or as 2 different front/rear pairs (Micro Drive Front/Rear, or Macro Drive Front/Micro Drive Rear).
