We can always count on road.cc to release thorough reviews of all our new products every year, and this time they’ve gone after the new Macro Drive 600XL! This was a huge upgrade from our Macro Drive of previous years, and the reviewers over at road.cc have taken note.

“The Macro Drive is clearly designed for those who, along with the obvious need to be seen at night by other road users, need enough light to blaze their own trail through the night.”

The review covers battery life, the different light modes, light range, variety of mounts offered, and other solid talking points.

Outdoor Gear Lab Reviews the Lezyne Super GPS

Outdoor Gear Lab is the next to give our Super GPS some rave reviews! With side-by-side competitor comparisons and a hands-on review including setup, interface and use, features, best applications and value (it is the winner of their Best Buy Award, after all), our popular new cycling computer seems to be quite the hit with those behind the Cheyenne, Wyoming gear guide!

“The Lezyne Super GPS is a high end cycling computer with both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart connectivity. Lots of function at a low price has vaulted it into position as the winner of our Best Buy Award. No color touch screens here, just pure data and function. The screen and ride display layout are reminiscent of the Garmin Edge 500, but the overall aesthetic of the device is much different. The Lezyne Super GPS does not have map displays of any kind, but it does have impressive sensor compatibility and uses GPS and GLONASS satellites like the Garmin Edge 510 and Edge 520. If you are looking for a simple computer that can track data from almost any sensor on the market, then this is it.”

Mtbr Reviews the Lezyne Deca Drive 1500XXL

MTBR Reviews the Lezyne Deca Drive 1500XXL

Mtbr and RoadBikeReview recently published rundowns of the best lights on the market, titled 2016 Bike Lights Shootout (see them here, and here, respectively), and Mtbr whipped up a nice review for the Lezyne Deca Drive 1500XXL as part of it. Also included in these lists are the Micro Drive 400XL, Power Drive 900XL and Strip Drive Rear.

The Deca Drive 1500XXL was judged on items such as lumens, beam pattern, overall design and the elimination of field replaceable batteries, as well as all the goodies in the specs. We’d also love to think we have a “hidden mode” for our ultra tech savvy fans out there, but we aren’t that sneaky…we’d like to point out to Mtbr that this is our Overdrive mode, which gives you the 1500 lumen boost advertised on the light itself.

Mtbr completes their review with a mention that “there’s sweeping changes to the Lezyne line, but the bottom line is good optics and beam pattern are delivered,” noting the great value for the price. Read the entire review here.

Road.cc Reviews the Lezyne SV 10 Multi Tool

Road.cc Reviews the Lezyne SV 10 Multi Tool

Road.cc Reviews the Lezyne SV 10 Multi Tool

Once again, Road.cc has shown us some love! This time it’s for our SV 10 multi tool, which is an aluminum, low profile set of CNC machined tools with durable stainless steel fascinating hardware, a forged aluminum chain breaker and forged center-pivot stainless steel bits. This multi tool is optimized for modern component groups.

Road.cc says, “Lezyne are a company that have the ability to make a seemingly mundane product such as a pump or multi tool into an object of desire. They mix quality materials with well thought out design and an attention to detail, which result in objects that demand attention. This is certainly true of their SV10 multi tool, which packs, as you may have guessed, ten tools into a light (only 101 g), compact and attractive package.”

The popular online publication also included the tool in a rundown of the best multitools “to fit your bike’s bits.” Check that out here!

Peloton Magazine – Lezyne GPS Line
“Lezyne has given us everything we need in a GPS, nothing we don’t, and have done it with more convenience thanks to long battery life and Bluetooth connectivity for less money…What the unit does do, which we absolutely love, is text and call alerts through Bluetooth connectivity to your phone”

Decline Magazine – Lezyne Mini GPS
“At just $139.99 the Mini GPS keeps all the essential riding data right at your fingertips for a minimal investment in a sturdy aluminum and plastic package. It lets you save and upload your rides on any fitness tracker website and provides good motivation to pick up the pace and ride harder, even if you’re rolling solo. Of course, you could get all this data and more from your smart phone but I’m not too keen on strapping a $600 piece of glass to my handlebars. I’m excited I’ve found this new way to accumulate ride data, as keeping track of my rides will help me stick to a schedule and stay in better shape.”

Bike Magazine – Lezyne Mini GPS
“Despite its diminutive size, Lezyne’s Mini GPS packs a punch. Unlike the Garmin and Magellan, the Mini does not have any kind of on-the-ride navigational features—no map to the nearest taqueria or fire lookout. Instead, it offers everything you’d want in a cycling computer—moving time, ride time, odometer, trip distance, current average and max speeds, current elevation plus total elevation gain and loss, temperature—not to mention the ability to geek out with maps when you’re back home.”

Road.cc – Lezyne Mini GPS

BikeRadar – Lezyne Super GPS in “Best New Gear”
“While the 75g Super GPS does not provide navigation — the GPS functionality here is used for recording where you ride, plus metrics like speed and distance — it does work with heart rate straps, power meters and mobile phones thanks to ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.”

Peloton Magazine Reviews the New Lezyne GPS Line

Peloton Magazine Reviews the New Lezyne GPS Line

Our brand new GPS computers were reviewed by Peloton, one of the most respected road magazines in the United States, in a detailed two-page article.

Peloton states, “Lezyne has given us everything we need in a GPS, nothing we don’t, and have done it with more convenience thanks to long battery life and Bluetooth connectivity for less money”

To read the full article, click on the image below. Here are the highlights:

“…Lezyne has managed to maintain its reputation for quality aesthetic and solid functionality…”

“…The most important aspect of selecting a Lezyne Super GPS is forgetting everything you know about Garmin…”

“…Without the inclusion of navigation, which is rarely used by most riders who stick to club rides and known routes, Lezyne has streamlined the unit’s size and usability, while extending run time…”

“…What the unit does, which we absolutely love, is the text and call alert…it does more than notify, it displays the text itself on your screen..”

“…Lezyne’s X-Lock mount…This is the mount an engineering company would make, much more secure than a Garmin quarter turn mount…”

“…What we find most impressive about the SUPER GPS is that Lezyne made no attempt to simply make a Garmin knock-off…”

“…Its units not only look different, but they also have been created from an entirely different philosophy…”
